Company History

Kurt Oehme established Oehme Metallverarbeitung in 1975. From the very beginning, the company's target markets were in the automobile, mechanical engineering and the electronics industries, offering customers a one stop shop for aluminium processing. The company expanded in 1995 with the formation of Oehme Skalna kovoobrabeni s.r.o., a skilled subsidiary for mechanical processing in the Czech Republic. Oehme were awarded with DIN ISO 9000 ff certification a year earlier. The company has been a member of the apt Hiller Group since June 2003 and now trades under the name of apt Oehme GmbH.
